Our goal is deceptively simple:we want to transform supply chain learning by transforming textbooks into learning books.  We are going to do this by leveraging the lessons we have learned in supply chain management over the years.  These include the application of technology, the near-realtime updating of information, and the adherence to industry standards to facilitate information exchange.

Our purpose isn’t purely academic.  We believe that small businesses have the passion, and the drive to succeed, but often don’t have the supply chain skills necessary to efficiently manage their resources.  Sadly, most of the materials out there are too expensive, lack examples, and quite simply, aren’t relevant.  We are working to change that!

Of course, the question remains–how are we going to do that?

We are working to develop digital “books” (using the now available HTML5 standard) that not only offer the traditional structure and experience (reading and learning about the subject, providing examples and “problems” to be worked) but also integrate audio and video interviews, examples, and other content directly into the book.  More importantly, we seek to design the book so that the content is delivered via the internet, allowing us to constantly update the material (without subscription) ensuring that the learner receives the most current content available at all times.  The material will be relevant, and affordable.  Our goal is to provide immediately relevant, content rich, books well below the price-point of traditional textbooks–in the range of $15-20.

Join us in this effort–and vote for Supply Chain Innovations Today! (And don’t be fooled by imitations-you need to search for the company in PA)
